This Is My Life
Well, hello there!
I suppose you’re reading this because you want to know a little bit more about the crazy girl that runs this blog! So the easiest way to do this is to explain why I post so much of what I do: The Killers, Brandon Flowers, and 30 Seconds to Mars.
I’m Linsey and I love music (shocker, I know). The Killers were my first band obsession and that is still going stronger than ever. They’ve changed my life for the better and every song by them is a treasure to me. In other words, they have captivated my heart. I haven’t seen them live yet to my greatest misfortune. However, I’m currently making up for that with all of the memorabilia that I collect (CDs, vinyls, clothing, posters, magazines…you get the picture). I’ll defend these four no matter what because I think they are the most wonderful band in the world.
Next, I must mention Brandon Flowers because, besides The Killers, you’ll see a LOT of him on here. I think he’s beyond perfection. I admire how moral, caring, compassionate, deep, loving, and passionate he is. He’s the kind of man I would marry (if only I could, haha!) in a heartbeat. Oh, and he’s drop dead gorgeous. How could I forget to mention that? Yes, I’ve seen him. Six times in fact. Haven’t “properly” met him, but I have gotten his autograph and I’ve touched his hand. So I’m happy. But what I really want to stress is how much I respect him. He puts so much heart into his lyrics and he’s not afraid to sing about what is most important in his life (God, family). He’s not perfect, but he makes an effort. Brandon is one of the most admirable people I look up to.
30 Seconds to Mars. OH BOY do I need to mention these guys. They swept me off my feet all of a sudden. I had wanted to see them since 2009, but things never worked out. I LOVED This Is War along with their older songs of course. Then I heard about their North American tour and a spark ignited. I HAD to go. So, on April 9th, 2011, I finally got to see them. If you’re part of the Echelon, you all know how epic the concerts are. And epic is an understatement. Jared, Shannon, and Tomo. I love these three to death. They’re adorable and sexy and AH, you all know. They’re crazy. And they make me crazy. Their songs are so powerful and moving. If I could have three guy best friends from a band, they would be my first choice. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
Now for more about me, if you’d like to read! I’m pretty simple, empathetic, emotional, adventurous, spontaneous, and outgoing. I get attached to things and people far too much, but I see it as a blessing rather than a curse. I’m a Christian and proud to be one.

Movies: Anything with Jared Leto in it (I’m slightly biased), The Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings, The Prestige, Life As We Know It, Moulin Rouge, RAH (The Killers).
Stuff: Driving, being alone in nature, going to concerts, eating.
